Ngannou was a complete novice against Anthony Joshua. The way he positioned his hands in the ring against Joshua clearly depicted someone who is illiterate in the school of boxing.
He was just throwing his hands aimlessly. A classical example of a brute in the boxing ring, depending solely on his physical strength.
The next step for Ngannou now is to learn the rudiment of boxing. If he dares go into the ring against another established heavyweight boxer he may suffer a life threatening medical condition after the fight.
Concerning, Joshua, I think the beast in him was unleashed tonight. He has suffered so much humiliation in different conversations in the heavyweight class, but give it to the Watford- born British Nigerian for silencing his critics tonight.
Joshua had the dominance from the beginning and it was a very devastating knockout victory over the loud – mouth unskilled Ngannou.
It is also interesting to note the great sportsmanship exhibited by Joshua both before the fight and after the brutal bout. He gave Ngannou his due respect. He even admonished him not to give up boxing.
I look forward to AJ becoming the heavyweight champion again for the third time.
